He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority since February 15, 2023, Mubadala Business Management Services Company (MDC) , Abu Dhabi Airports Company since 2017, Abu Dhabi Retirement Pensions and Benefits Fund , Etihad Aviation Group since January 18, 2021, and Abu Dhabi Global Market since October 19, 2021.

He served as Executive Director of Treasury and Investor Relations at Mubadala Development Company, and General Manager of Strategic Finance at the Department of Finance in Abu Dhabi between October 2019 and 2020. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Yahsat Satellite Communications Company , Anglo Gulf Trade Bank between 2018 and 2019, Abu Dhabi Ship Building Company , EMI Music Publishing Company, LeasePlan Emirates Company, Abu Dhabi Ports Company , and SR Technics Company.

He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange from January 7, 2022 to January 8, 2024, Bidaya Media Corporation between 2011 and 2019, and Abu Dhabi Finance Company between 2015 and 2017. He also held a number of positions at Mubadala Development Company, including: Chief Financial Officer between 2014 and 2017, Chief Financial Officer at Advanced Technology Investment Company (ATIC), a subsidiary of the same company, between 2012 and 2014, and Director of Structured Finance and Capital Markets between 2010 and 2012.

He was Head of Retail Banking at Standard Chartered Bank in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain between 2005 and 2009, Relationship Manager at ABN AMRO Bank between 2002 and 2005, Relationship Officer at Union National Bank between 1999 and 2002, and Analyst at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank between 1998 and 1999.

He holds an MBA in 1998 from the University of New Haven in the United States, and a BA in Chemistry in 1996 from the United Arab Emirates University .
