He is a banking expert and forensic accountant in the same company since 201, and a member of the Board of Directors of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) .

He is also a member of the UAE Accounting and Auditing Federation, a certified accounting and banking expert at the Ministry of Justice, a certified accounting expert at the Dubai Courts, a certified arbitrator and expert at the Sharjah Chamber, a certified arbitrator and expert at the Dubai Chamber, a certified expert at the Abu Dhabi Chamber, and a certified auditor at the Ministry of Finance.

He held the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union Cooperative Society (Union Cooperative), the Securities and Commodities Authority between 2018 and 2021, and the Union Properties Company between 1999 and 2017. He also held several positions at Emirates Transport, including Head of the Consulting Office between 2007 and 2016, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors between 2008 and 2014, Chairman of the Audit and Risk Management Committee between 2008 and 2014, General Manager from 1987 to 2007, and Assistant General Manager between 1985 and 1987.

He was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre between 2019 and 2022, a member of the Board of Directors of Takaful Emirates Insurance Company between 2023 and 2024, and Emirates Telecommunications Corporation “Etisalat” for two terms between 2005 and 2012 and between 1997 and 2004. He also held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emirates Islamic Bank between 2005 and 2011, Dubai Transport Corporation between 1994 and 2006, and an accountant at the Ministry of Health between 1981 and 1983.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration in 1981 from the United Arab Emirates University .
