He is the Chairman of the Scientific Council and a Professor of Public International Law at the Dubai Police Academy .

He held the position of Secretary-General of the Dubai Judicial Council between 2021 and 2024. He also held several positions at the Dubai Police Academy , including: Director of the Legal and Police Applications Department, Director of the Administrative Affairs Department, Director of the Student Affairs Department, and Head of the Evening Studies Department.

He also held several positions in the Dubai Police , including: Duty Officer, Head of the Criminal Records Department, and Head of the Traffic Records Department at Al Muraqqabat Police Station in Dubai. He also worked in the General Department of Airport Security.

He has several researches in the field of public international law, international maritime law, international humanitarian law, international regulatory law, and diplomatic privileges and immunities.

He obtained the rank of Professor of Public International Law, and he is the first Arab and Gulf officer to obtain this rank.

He holds a PhD in Public International Law in 2004 from Aberystwyth University in the United Kingdom, a Master’s degree in Public International Law in 1999 from Nottingham University in the United Kingdom, a Bachelor’s degree in Legal Sciences, and a Police Diploma in 1996 from Dubai Police Academy.
