He held several positions in the Ministry of Health and Prevention, including: Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Advisor to the Minister of Health, Acting Director General, Undersecretary of the Ministry, and Executive Director of Corporate and Support Services.

Al Darmaki held the position of Vice President of the Arab Scout Region and was also the Director of Tawam Hospital.

He has over 23 years of experience in the health sector.

He holds a PhD in Sociology and Social Policy from Durham University in the United Kingdom, and a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Al Ain University in 1984.
