Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatari Businessmen Association, founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Faisal Holding Company, Aamal Company , and Al-Faisal Without Borders Foundation, and founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum. In Qatar, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Gulf Qatari Classic Cars Association.

He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the College of Business Administration at DePaul University in Chicago in the United States of America, and a founding member of the Al-Gharafa Qatari Club.

He was a member of the Board of Trustees at Qatar University.

He was awarded the “Heritage Personality of the Year 2012” award by the League of Arab States.
