She is the founder and Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees of the American University of Kuwait , Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the United Education Company and the Jordan Kuwait Bank since March 5, 2024, and CEO of Al-Futtouh Investment Company.

She has been a member of the Board of Directors of Kuwait Projects Company Holding (KIPCO) since December 9, 2020, Gulf Insurance Group , representing Amaken United Real Estate Company, since November 1, 2020, and KAMCO Investment Company . She is also an honorary member of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Association for Learning Differences ( KALD ).

Forbes magazine ranked her among the “100 Most Powerful Businesswomen in the Middle East” for 2024 and 2023, and the “Most Powerful CEOs in the Middle East” for 2024, 2023, and 2022.

She holds a BA in English Literature from Kuwait University .
