He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (“Saudi Kayan”) since 2024, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arabian Petrochemical Company (“Petrokemya”) since April 2023, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Eastern Petrochemical Company (“Sharq”) since March 2018.

He previously held a number of positions, including:

• Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Methanol Company “Ibn Sina ” between March 2023 and February 2024.
• Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Methacrylate Company between March 2023 and February 2024.
• Vice President of Global Procurement Services at Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) between April 2019 and November 2020.
• President of SABIC Storage Services Company (SABIC Tank), a subsidiary of SABIC, between January 2017 and March 2019.

He also held a number of positions at the Arabian Petrochemical Company (Petrokemya), including:

• General Manager of the Technical Department between March 2015 and December 2016.
• General Manager of Maintenance Department between August 2013 and February 2015.
• Senior Manager of Production and Product Handling between July 2011 and July 2013.
• Senior Manager Reliability and Technical Support between April 2009 and June 2011.
• Senior Director of Inspection Department between May 2007 and April 2009.
• Maintenance Planning Supervisor between November 2005 and April 2007.

He holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of International Management in the United States of America, and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering in 1998 from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals .
