In his position, he is responsible for determining the adequacy of measures taken across all Abu Dhabi Airports Company operations with regard to compliance, safety, security, environmental performance, and cost effectiveness.

He is considered one of the veterans in the field of air transport sector in the United Arab Emirates, and has more than 18 years of experience in the field of aircraft airworthiness and flight operations, safety management, airlines and airport security, certification of airports and aviation accidents, accident prevention and investigation in this field. His experience also extends to include bilateral negotiations in the field of air transport, and technical and administrative management of civil aviation. He has extensive knowledge of the methodologies of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the annexes regulating the international civil aviation sector, in addition to his knowledge of the Chicago Convention and other various international protocols.

Al-Haddabi holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Southern Eastern University in the United States of America.
