He held the position of Head of Energy and Petrochemical Industries at the National Oil and Gas Authority, and was an engineering expert at the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) in Qatar. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors of Bapco Supply Company.
He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom.
