He held several positions in Rotana Group, including: Financial Manager in Bahrain between 2012 and 2015, Group Treasurer in Saudi Arabia between 2010 and 2012, Operations Controller at Schlumberger in Iran in 2010, and Business Analyst at the same company in Saudi Arabia between 2007 and 2008.

He worked as an accountant at Hegleig Petroleum Services and Investment Company Limited between 2000 and 2001, and as a management accountant at Shell Company in Sudan between 2001 and 2003.

He holds a PhD in Business Administration in 2013 from Northumbria University Newcastle in the United Kingdom, a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance in 2004 from the University of Khartoum, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance in 2000 from the same university.
