Khawla holds a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering from UAE University.

she serves as a Board Member and Treasurer of Dubai Gold and Jewelry Designers Group since 2024, where she played a key role in establishing the group to support gold and jewelry designers within the community.

Khawla is also the Founder of "Al Hes Jewelry" her own brand established in 2022, specializing in the design and crafting gold jewelry pieces. Additionally, she has served as the President of the Friends of Breastfeeding Association since 2012,  a role she was appointed to by Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, In this capacity, she leads the operations and develops impactful programs to support breastfeeding mothers.

Khawla's contributions have earned her several accolades, including being honored at the "Al Khair Yajma'una" Event in 2021, by Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, for her volunteer contributions to the Friends of Breastfeeding Association. in 2020 she received the Emirates Women Award for Community and Volunteer Contribution, recognizing her extensive contributions to community service and volunteer work.

She was also the winner of the Ibdaa World Jewelry Design Award in 2019 at the Jewelry Exhibition in Abu Dhabi from Ibdaa in the pearl design category.

Previously, Khawla served as Vice President of the Emirates Retirees Association between 2015 and 2019, where she played a key role in establishing the association and developing programs to empower retirees and promote their integration into society.

she was also a Member of the Consultive Council of sharjah From 2008 to 2011, appointed by Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, In this role, she contributed through her participation in three committees to provide recommendations for enhancing the operations of government departments.

From 2002 to 2006, Khawla held the position of Director General of the Sharjah Directorate of Public Works and Member of the Sharjah Executive Council, also appointed by Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, In this capacity, she managed operations within the directorate, oversaw projects, and contributed to the development of Sharjah's infrastructure.
