He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dar Zayed for Family Care since April 9, 2020, Chairman of the World Skills Asia Organisation since August 2018, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Vocational Education and Training Institute since 2013, the Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination since 2014, the Abu Dhabi Tawteen Council since 2014, and the Sanid Volunteer Programme . He held the position of Director General of the National Qualifications Authority between 2018 and 2020, Director of the project to establish the same authority in 2009, Deputy Director General of the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training between 2011 and 2014, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge between 2006 and 2008, and the Abu Dhabi Education Council between 2006 and 2008. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the National Qualifications Authority , Zayed University , and Zayed Family Care House between 2015 and 2020. He also held the position of Dean of Student Affairs and Community Relations at the Male and Female Colleges at the Higher Colleges of Technology, and Supervisor of Student Affairs and Community Relations at the same institution in 1995, in addition to his work at the Institute of Applied Technology in 2008. He holds a PhD from the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland, a Master’s degree in Educational Administration, specializing in Educational Management and Leadership in 2005 from the Queensland University of Technology in Australia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, specializing in International Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the United States of America.
