Governor of the " Central Bank of Libya " since 2011, State of Libya.
He is the Chairman of the National Committee for Combating Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing at the same bank, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Banking Corporation “Bank ABC” in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and “ Bank ABC Egypt ”.
He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Bank of the Nation” between 1990 and 2000, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Banking Corporation “Bank ABC” in Algeria, Deputy CEO of both the “ Central Bank of Libya ” between 2008 and 2011, and “Bank ABC” in the United Kingdom, and General Manager of the same bank in 2009.
He has more than 35 years of experience in the financial and banking field.
He holds an MBA from the University of Hartford in the United States of America.
