Director General of Zayed House for Islamic Culture , United Arab Emirates. She is a member of the Federal National Council for the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the American University of Ras Al Khaimah. She worked as an educational researcher at the University of Colorado in the United States of America, and held the position of Assistant Professor of Information Technology at the United Arab Emirates University for 7 years, and a computer specialist at the Ministry of Education in the UAE . She also served as a member of the Federal National Council between 2007 and 2011, the teaching staff, the Accreditation Committee, the Technology Development Committee, and the Evaluation and Assessment Committee at the United Arab Emirates University between 2002 and 2006, the E-Learning for the Future Association, and the Arab Parliament of the League of Arab States . She has published books and scientific research, including: "The Use of Technology by First-Year Teachers, Three Perspectives", "The Interaction of Teachers in the Preparatory Stage of the E-Learning Communities System", and a study on the role of technology in learning and equal employment opportunities between women and men in the Gulf Cooperation Council region. She holds a PhD in Leadership and Educational Development from the University of Colorado in the United States of America in 2005, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the United Arab Emirates University.
