Group Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank effective October 30, 2024, United Arab Emirates.

He joined the bank in 2020, where he served as Group CFO, and was then appointed Acting Group CEO on March 5, 2024.

He has 28 years of experience in various fields within the banking sector.

He previously held several positions at Standard Chartered Bank Middle East , including: Regional CFO for the bank in Africa, the Middle East and the Emirates, Head of Business Finance in the Emirates, the Middle East, Africa and Pakistan, and Head of the Finance Department. He also worked at Barclays Bank and Citibank.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting, 1995, Helwan University , Arab Republic of Egypt.
